Prime

As a part of your Diversion contract and/or Probation, you may have been ordered to attend the Putnam County VIP.

There is a $25 fee, to be paid prior to attending, in the Adult Probation Department.  It is your responsibility to arrive on the correct date and time, at the correct place.

Attendance on that date is mandatory. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE IDENTIFICATION.

Class is held at the Commissioner's Room, first floor, Putnam County Courthouse.  Please enter on the North Side.  The panel will begin promptly at 7:00 pm.  No late-comers will be admitted once the Panel begins.  If you are late or don't attend for your scheduled date, you may be subjecting yourself to a Probation Violation.  The Panel will last approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours.  There will be no breaks allowed during the Panel.

Prime for Life is a program designed to gently but powerfully challenge common beliefs and attitudes that directly contribute to high-risk alcohol and drug use.  The content, process, and sequence of PRIME For Life are carefully developed to achieve both prevention and intervention goals.  Contact Adult Probation to enroll. The program goals of PRI are: to reduce problems caused by high-risk drinking or drug use; to reduce the risk for long-term health problems and short-term impairment problems; and to help people successfully protect the things they value. Contact Adult Probation for dates and times.
